REST DAY

AHHHH after three days of working out hard finally time to rest.

Often I get my kids asking if they can do a work out with me so they do some box jumps, push ups, pull ups, row ect… but never to do a true CrossFit workout.  So I challenged my 7 year old son to one yesterday. Here is what he did.

WOD

2 rounds of

1:30 Skips

1:30 Plank

Rest 2 Minutes

6 rounds of

8 Lunges (each leg)

8 Box Jumps (12″)

A Description of his Results:

He did the first round of the first WOD as required, the second round he only made it to a 45sec plank before he had to take a break but he finished.  He did awesome.  He wanted to do the 20 inch box but I recommended he do the 12″.  He was insistent on doing the 20″  so I encouraged, GO FOR IT.  After the third round he switched to the 12″ box.  Ego at 7??? :) ))  He finished in 6:39 and immediately went for the post CrossFit work out pose.  Check it out!!  We have all been there.
